1996 FAIRWAY DRIVER TAXI - EX LONDON

This is the iconic London taxi with the fantastic Nissan 2.7 diesel engine. The cab is painted in bright white on the outside only.

This cab has automatic transmission. It is a 3 speed gearbox with overdrive. In the front is 1 drivers seat, in the back is a bench seat for 3 people and 2 tip up seats. The rear windows are manual and the front windows are electric. It also has a manual sunroof.

Outside, the cab looks really great with no dents or scuffs, it presently has vinyl advertising down both sides but you could remove this quite easily. It has 4 new hubcaps and a new rear carpet. The rear seats have also recently been recovered.

Inside, the cab is in great condition, a fantastic wood steering wheel and walnut type cappings on the front doors and dashboard. The rear benefits from carpet panels to the bottom of the doors.

Mechanically the cab is really good. There is no smoke from the engine when starting or driving and the gearbox and differential appear to be absolutely fine. I will service this cab before sale too. I have had the cab MOT,d and it passed first time.

This cab would be great for weddings or any sort of advertising. If the cab is to be used in the UK I will sell it with 6 Months road tax. If it is to be exported you will of course not need this.

1995 SERIES II METROCAB EX-LONDON 7 SEATER

I am selling a 1996 (N Reg) Blue/Green metalic Series II Metrocab. It is the facelift model with the wrap around fibreglass bumpers. It has a 2.5 'banana' Transit engine and an auto gearbox. It is in great condition throughout.and has just finished it's service in London.

Outside the paintwork is in very good condition for it's age with no major scratches. It is made of fibreglass and of course will never rust.

Inside the taxi is in full working order with nothing missing. A radio is fitted and it is to be assumed that it works.

This taxi also benefits from 7 passenger seats, 6 in the rear and one in the front. Mechanically the taxi seems in very good condition, I have just MOT'd it and only needed to replace the front calipers with new ones.

It is in full working order and is being sold with 6 months tax and 12 months MOT.
